Education/Learning/Entrepreneur Plan

Posted on 28. Jul, 2009 by admin in Alex's Coaching Course

Along with a Business Plan an Education Plan needs to be developed. It too is a living document and will be changed as I go along this journey of self development.

I don’t know what I don’t know. Yikes talk about panic.

About three days after listening to Module 1, thoughts started to crowd my mind. ‘Write it down’ I said to myself or I will forget.

This is what I came up with -
• Websites
• Domain names
• Hosting
• Keywords
• Content
• Autoresponders
• Blogs
• Google
• Traffic
• Twitter
• Social Media

Each bullet point got broken down further as I put notes against each one of what I needed to learn.

Gee I know what a website is and the theory behind it. Do I need to learn about that at this point in time – no I don’t? Next.

Domain Names – Learn how to purchase a domain name and from where.

Hosting – Learn an overview of hosting and decide who to use.

And so the list went on. As I started filling in the gaps I kept thinking of other things that I needed to add to the list. After about 30 mins I prioritised my list. No.1 was domain name. No.2 hosting, etc.
Each time I think of something that I need to learn I add it to the list. Like today I added videos to my list.

Does anyone know what else I could put on my list of things to learn – something you don’t know yourself or something that you do know?

    Hi Faye,

I’m a fellow Alex Jeffreys Student and I know what you mean about that list of things. Over a couple of years I’ve done a lot of that stuff and in the end I wasn’t driving the traffic. Think I’ll try to outsource a bit more this time and concentrate on the traffic!

Best of luck and I’ll see you around the forum.

    Hello Faye,

Another fellow student of Alex Jeffreys.

I think Alex’s best advice for me was to get organised! That is something I knew I needed to do
but now I really have to focus and do it :o )

You have a nice, clean blog here and I look forward to your next posts.

    Hi Faye,

Certainly a good start, a list of the things that need to be learnt certainly helps, But don’t forget if you struggle contact the forum and don’t be afraid to outsource as mentioned by Andy. I have outsourced the creation of content for one of my websites, and I am in the process of having a product review created, giving me more time to concentrate on Alex’s Training course.

    All the best.

    Faye,

I love the simplicity of how you process information. Keeping it simple.

Looks like you’ve got prioritization down better than me too.

And since you asked on other things to learn, a great next step would
be to install the wordpress comment luv plugin

    http://comluv.com/download/commentluv-wordpress/

    and then start commenting
    on other people’s blogs.

    Cheers,

    Rob

P.S. Many of Alex Jeffreys students are also branding our pictures
all across the blogsphere. It’s easy, take a minute or two is
automatic and free. Here is the blog post I wrote to show you
    exactly what we’re doing.

    hope that helps.

    Hey,Faye,
it’s really good idea to write what you have to do.It make you more organized and you can complete much more tasks.
Without such Logbook you are completely unfocused and jump from one thing to another.
    Keep doing1

    Hi Faye,
Great post-I believe that you’ve listed all of the important things! Isn’t it amazing how cluttered our heads can get and how much better we feel AFTER we jot it all down. That is a great way to start…write it all down, then delve into it even more! Sounds like Alex got almost all of us organized, doesn’t it?

I wish you the very best, Faye-take care,
