For you to be successful in your online endeavors, you definitely need to know the tips and thrills of traffic generation which have been demystified below.

FORUM MARKETING

Posting in forums can be a sure way to enhance your online presence. You get more people to know and trust you if your content is beneficial. Putting a signature in your profile with a link to your website may just be a strategy to generate unexpected traffic

ARTICLE MARKETING

If you can write well thought, researched and qualitative articles, then article marketing may just be your best bet. A website with rich and qualitative article will generate targeted traffic.

FREE CLASSIFIEDS

This method was widely used in the past although still viable. You can place classified ads on your product or services and get targeted traffic.

RESOURCE BOX

This shouldn’t be taken with levity as it can be a great source for traffic generation so far it is placed in relation to the article being written. You put a link in the box that refers people to your website

EMAILS

You can use emails to inform customers about updates and recent developments about your website. They are also very effective yet cheap and I will urge you to take advantage of this as it can be useful for your online campaign

PRESS RELEASES

Writing a proper press release can undoubtedly bring targeted traffic to your website. It has been proven to work effectively when used as a traffic generating tool

TITLE TAG

For your website or blog to rank high in search engine results then it must have good keywords in the title field. Not forgetting that the content itself must be rich and related to the keyword

DIRECTORIES SUBMISSION

This has been considered as a very demanding task but there are now sites that can submit your blog simultaneously to directories making it easier yet beneficial.

LINK EXCHANGES

I sincerely like this method the most. You register with a website that searches for matches for your site or blog based on keywords. Partnership may now exist and links can be shared between the two parties making it a beneficial back link

TELL A FRIEND

Placing a Tell-a-friend script on your website can be very beneficial as you can get more unexpected visitors invited by satisfied users. I will definitely recommend this method

PAID REVIEWS

You can reach out to freelancers who will be more than willing to review your website and post the reviews on a related blog for a token. This can generate great exposure for your website

Other methods include Re-visits,Promotion, Offers, Customer Support, Yahoo Answers e.t.c

    Hi Faye

Thanks for the great info on traffic generation.

You can have the best product in the world but if no one see’s it your not going to make any sales so traffic generation is something you need to be doing on a regular basis.

All the methods you mention are great ways of getting traffic and can I add viral reports and entering giveaway events to the list too.

    Keep up the good work

Hey Faye, I am cruising around today just looking at random blogs and found yours in the blog-roll of another blog, I think it was under a link called MWA blogs.

You seem to have been quiet for a while. I am also curious about MWA. What is the meaning of that?

Cheers and all the best, Michael.
